Me, with posting, not the guys on the house. They're still tearing right along. We're expecting up to 6" of rain by Monday, and it won't stop through the better part of next week. Today the roofers came out and put the metal roofs on the dormers. They also stacked the shingles on the ridge, but have to wait to install them. The *lovely* county has to set a precedence with our project on roof venting. If I wasn't ready to go postal on them before...
A small four-legged friend left us a present the other night. Before the windows and doors were installed, it just walked right in and took a dump in our living room. Thank goodness it was on a piece of scrap plywood — it might have stained the concrete floor. My boss seems to think it was a fox. She says raccoons and others will poop anywhere, but foxes like to poop on things. Good to know. :)
The rough plumbing is done and the bathtub in the main bathroom has been installed.

Here's the house as it stood on Thursday (2/26/09) morning. So exciting!!!

lynnie it looks AWESOME!! I cannot wait to see it! I promise to not let Sofie poop in your house! Now that is something she has NEVER done; poop inside.
I love, love, LOVE that you took a photo and told the poop story. I'm glad you appreciate some good poop from the local wildlife. :) The master bedroom is going to be awesome. Can't wait to see it in person!
